For the third year in a row, The Funk Club and Salt on the Beach are proud to present Perth’s favourite New Years Eve party on the beach...COUNTDOWN to New Years Eve. This year’s event will be headlined by seminal MC LYRICS BORN live with his six piece band, backed by DJs, spanning two beachside areas in North Fremantle.
Japanese-born, American-based rapper LYRICS BORN will ring in the New Year with the ultimate party set of his trademark hip hop tinged with old school soul in an explosive live show including hits “I Changed My Mind”, “I Love It, I Like It”, and “Callin’ Out”.
UK DJ RUSS DEWBURY is known for his mix of jazz-fused beats and grooves. One of the UK’s original jazz DJs he is the man behind the famous club night "DJ Russ Dewbury's Jazz Rooms" and is one of the most influential and, highly respected figures on the international dance music scene.
Ex-Perth boy N’FA will return home to play Countdown to NYE - rising beyond his role as the front-man of the wildly successful ARIA winning 1200 Techniques, who sold over 50,000 albums and captivated audiences with their edgy live shows at every major music festival in the nation.
