Funkussion III

Funkussion is a show brought to you by Mikeleza from Beleza Escola de Samba (a new samba school publicly opening in 2008!).
On the 16th November we will have some very special guests! Carlos Ferreira from the Melbourne School of Samba will be joining us!
We will have members from "Sambalicious"... Marcio Mendez and Thiago Santos.
Also joining us for funkussion will be members of "Sound Sista"... Grace Barbe and Freddy Poncin.
Lets not forget special guests from "the crux" and suryo wilson on tenor sax!
As usual the night will be a spontaneous night full of brilliant musicians jamming it up live onstage... who knows who might turn up!

8:00 - Doors open with Alastair conducting Djembe workshop (Bring your djembe drum!)

9:00 - Dunumba perform with special guest dancer, Afla

9:30 - Funk Club House Band

10:15 - DJ Charlie Bucket

10:30 - Advanced Group play on the floor with Dancers

10:45 - Beginners join the advanced group and run through samba routine

11:00 - Performance group take the stage combining with special guests

11:45 - Brazilians, Fabio, Thiago and others take the stage to sing popular brazilian songs

12:30 - DJ Charlie Bucket
