To coincide with their headlining slot at Soulaverse's 70s Soul Party in May, The Accumulated Gestures will be releasing their first single - a double A-Side of GET TOGETHER b/w BROTHER MAN (Single Version) newly recorded for this release! This one-two political punch of neo-soul groove and hard funk respectively will present a preview of the Accumulated Gestures' upcoming album A More Permanent Impermanence, out later this year. Known for its extended length in live performance, the single version of Brother Man (at more reasonable length ideal for radio/clubs) will be exclusive to this double A-Side release.
As a sneak preview promo, free copies of Get Together (Clean Radio Version) will be given away at Soulaverse #2 on April 9th.
For the official release of the single in May, a CD single will be available featuring Brother Man and both the Album Version and Clean Radio Version of Get Together.
A VINYL 10" 45rpm release of Get Together (Album Version) b/w Brother Man (Single Version) will also be available as a preorder special, with a few extra copies pressed for those who miss the preorder. A free MP3 download of the CD single tracks will also be included with all vinyl copies. This will be a strictly limited hand-numbered pressing - once the initial run is done, we shall not be pressing any more copies!
