Mr Thing from the UK announces his Australian tour with a perth exclusive double show. On October 16th Mr Thing will be performing a special double show kicking off the proceedings at the Funk Club (upstairs at the Leederville Hotel), for the launch of his 2nd compilation "Strange Breaks and Mr Thing" on BBE records. He will be spinning a combination of rare funk breaks, jazz breaks and soul.  Support will come from The funk club house band and Charlie Bucket. Then across the road to The Manor where he will be spinning a party hip hop turntablist set. Joined on the decks by Benny chill, Selekt and Charlie Bucket. All this for only $20.

Mr Thing began his DJ Career back in 1987 and went on to become one of the world's finest turntablists, as testified by the following accomplishments:

DMC World Team Championship (Scratch Perverts) 1999, UK DMC Champ 2000, DMC World 3rd place 2000.

He is a world class DJ capable of rocking any party in any town, and has performed/toured with DJ Jazzy Jeff, J Live, The Beastie Boys, DJ Premier, DJ Vadim, Run DMC, Slum Village and Krs 1 to name only a few. Mr Thing does not stop at spinning records. Alongside an amazing record collection from many world wide digging trips across every continent, he practised his production skills and has gone on to remix and produce records for a credible assortment of UK acts.
