Every Friday night the Funk Club will be back upstairs at the Leederville Hotel! Join the Funk Club in celebrating the good news, with one hell of a party at the Leederville Hotel for the ‘opening night’ on Friday 5 June!
Two years ago marked the end of an era! One of the most successful regular nights in recent music industry history, The Funk Club Friday nights at the Leederville Hotel was to finish and move to the Rosemount Hotel. The goodbye party sold out twice over and Funk Club’s legendary residency upstairs at the leedy would just become Perth legend... However, that’s all about to change!
Funk Club was setup in 2003 with the intention of hosting a regular night where, fun funky people could hang-out in a nice setting, listen to the latest live original music and have and boogie to a DJ. Five years later the club is an institution having also gone on to do national tours themselves as well as host national and international acts such as: Cat Empire, Amp Fiddler, Gilles Petterson, Norman Jay, Z-Trip, Jungle Brothers, The Bamboos, and a host of other local bands and DJs alike!
